You can use glaamr if you're 13 or older. If you're between 13 and 17, you can use glaamr but your account is private by default and stays that way unless your parent confirms otherwise. If you're under 13, you can't sign up yet — sorry. We're working on a kids version.
If you're using glaamr as a professional makeup artist, you can have a public profile and link to your work.
glaamr is for makeup looks. That means photos of:
That's it. We don't allow:
We'll remove anything that breaks these rules. We'll also remove your account if you keep doing it.
Every image you upload is reviewed before it goes anywhere public. Right now this is done by a real human (hi). As we grow, we'll use a combination of automated screening and human review. We do this to keep glaamr a safe space, especially for young users.
If your photo doesn't pass review, we'll tell you why. Usually it's just because something didn't look like a makeup look.
You own everything you post. We don't sell your photos, claim them as ours, or train AI on them. By posting, you give us permission to display your photo in glaamr to other users at the visibility level you choose (private, connections, or public). That's it.
You can delete any photo at any time and we'll remove it from our systems.
We collect the minimum we need to make glaamr work: your email, your username, your photos, and what you save. We don't sell your data, ever. We don't show you ads. We don't track you across other websites.
If you're under 18, we collect even less and don't share it with third parties for any reason.
Our full privacy policy is here: privacy.html
glaamr doesn't have:
We chose not to build these because we want glaamr to feel like a quiet, creative space — not a social network. This is a feature, not a missing thing.
Some products on public looks have links to where you can buy them. When you click those and buy something, glaamr earns a small commission from the retailer. This doesn't change what you pay. Creators may share part of this commission. We'll always tell you when a link is an affiliate link.
You don't have to click any link, ever. The product list is just there to be useful.
Even though there are no comments or DMs on glaamr, you can still affect other people. If you copy someone's look without credit, claim someone else's photo as your own, or harass someone (e.g. by repeatedly reporting them in bad faith), we'll remove your account.
Every public look has a Report button. If you see something that breaks our rules — or just feels off — tap it. We read every report and respond fast. There's also a contact email at the bottom of this page for anything more serious.
If you break these terms — especially around safety, content, or other people — we can remove your content or close your account. We'll tell you why and you can appeal.
Settings → Delete Account. Your account, your photos, your data — all gone within 30 days. If you change your mind in those 30 days, we can usually bring it back. After 30 days, it's gone for good.
When we update these terms, we'll let you know in the app and by email if you've given us one. If a change really matters (like privacy stuff), we'll ask you to agree to it before continuing.
glaamr is provided "as-is" — we do our best but can't promise it'll never have bugs or be down for maintenance. We're not liable for things outside our control. These terms are governed by applicable law.
Got questions? Email hello@glaamr.app or use the in-app feedback button.
We read everything.
